Approach
At Wesley Chapel Counseling, we believe healing happens in the context of safety, connection, and evidence-based care. Our clinicians take an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy, recognizing that many emotional and relational struggles are shaped by past experiences, attachment patterns, and unprocessed stress.
We work with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional regulation difficulties. Treatment is always tailored to the individual, blending proven clinical modalities with warmth, collaboration, and practical skill-building.
Our team draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), attachment-based interventions, mindfulness practices, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). For children, we incorporate Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and sandtray therapy to support developmentally appropriate emotional processing.
Whether addressing trauma through EMDR, strengthening coping skills, improving communication within families, or helping teens navigate identity and peer pressures, our goal is to provide therapy that is both compassionate and results-oriented.
We offer both in-person and tele-health services to residents throughout Florida and are honored to support our clients in building resilience, clarity, and meaningful, lasting change.
