Kasey Clark Hedrick, MA, LMHC, NCC
With dual MAs, one in Counseling from St. Edward's University in Austin, TX and another in the field of Cognitive Psychology from Columbia
University in New York, NY, Kasey brings a wealth of expertise and depth to her counseling practice. Her education in the behavioral sciences began with a BA in Sociology from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL and training as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where she implemented Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) protocols with children on the autism spectrum. She also spent nine transformative years as an educator, both in the U.S. and overseas, working with children and adults, including in special education.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow, and she use evidence-based techniques to create a customized treatment plan for each client. At her internships at Capital Area Counseling and As We Grow Counseling, she helped many individuals and families find their way towards a happier and healthier life.

In her free time, she is a passionate mental health advocate volunteering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Since 2019, she has facilitated mental health talks and workshops, served on an executive leadership board, and actively advocated for mental health consumers in the state legislature.

"I realize therapy is a partnership, and I feel grateful to be chosen and trusted with the opportunity to use my skills and knowledge to help heal," says Kasey. She works with adults, children, couples, and families and believes that there is no one path to mental and relational health and well-being. Whether your challenges are PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, work struggles, or just feeling overwhelmed and lost, she will adapt to you and your needs to get you on the right track so that you feel empowered to confidently create a more meaningful future.

Sian-Marie Laws is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and emotional regulation difficulties. She is committed to creating a grounded, supportive space where clients of all ages can better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Sian-Marie earned her Master of Arts in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. She completed her clinical internship at Aspire Health Partners and then spent three years working in a community mental health setting, supporting children, teens, adults, and families. This experience deepened her appreciation for accessible, client-centered care and strengthened her ability to work with complex family dynamics.
In addition to individual therapy, Sian-Marie has experience running a teen substance use group, where she provided psychoeducation, motivational support, and practical skill-building to help adolescents make healthier decisions. She understands the importance of balancing accountability with empathy, particularly when working with teens navigating peer pressure, identity development, and impulse control challenges.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based strategies. Clients can expect sessions that are warm, collaborative, and practical, focusing not only on insight but also on developing concrete tools for managing emotions, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, and improving communication.
Sian-Marie strives to create an environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered. Whether supporting a child struggling with anxiety, a family coping with loss, or an adult navigating life stressors or relational challenges, her goal is to help clients build resilience, clarity, and confidence in their ability to move forward.
